I’m a digital communications professional living in Washington DC, taking photos, journaling, practicing yoga, listening to audiobooks, and volunteering at my church in my free time. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my experience!
Photography
I’ve loved photography since I first picked up a camera almost 10 years ago. I’ve worked as a freelance portrait photographer since 2014. During my time as a photographer for BYU, I photographed sporting events, promotional content, studio portraits, formal events, etc. I’m open to all types of photography, but am especially interested in working with brands to create commercial and product photos.
Writing + Editing
I’ve loved writing since I wanted to be an author as a kid when I was entering (and winning) my elementary school’s writing contests. In my current job, I write copy for emails, ads, lightboxes, and donation pages, and I previously wrote social media copy for three different organizations. Additionally, In 2014, I co-created a project called “Mormon Faces,” where I personally interviewed, transcribed, and edited interviews for over 500 people to post on our Instagram account. My copy portfolio will be added to my website soon.
Marketing
I’ve worked in social media since we were still posting song lyrics on Facebook. I love creating in all forms and strategizing how content can best benefit a brand. I’ve managed social media accounts for Big Air Trampoline Park, Money360, and Deseret News. I’ve since gained more experience in Facebook Advertising, Google Ads, email marketing, and project management, working at The Lukens Company this past year with their nonprofit clients.
